Exploring Blue Culture: From Training to Education

Join us on Friday, June 26th at 2 pm CT as Chief Moir discusses leadership, culture, and the importance of education that goes beyond training our officers. We will explore skills vs. knowledge as the Chief offers the practitioner’s perspective in the conversation with the researchers and academics, which she believes is the collaboration that we should exploit given our current environment. We will define the difference between organizational culture and climate — and the need for everyone to treat the current climate of policing with grace and humility to influence and amplify a healthy culture.
